Another sign of our divorce moment: “divorce rings,” where a wedding or engagement ring is repurposed to celebrate newfound singlehood. Model and author Emily Ratajkowski says, “The ring became symbolic to me—some kind of token or evidence of my life becoming my own again.” Maybe it’s the new burned wedding dress.
